Myself (Sarah) & Grant manage all elements of dog training here at Total Dog. We pride ourselves on complimenting each others methods and always get the desired results. Grant tends to work more in the field with owners in their own home while I tend to be located in our training facility for my training sessions. While both of us practice full positive reinforcement training methods, I am also qualified in Holistic Treatments and am undertaking a BSc Psychology Degree to better understand the human mind and how we can link our behaviours onto that of our dogs.

Both myself & Grant have a combined knowledge of over 20 years in this industry. We both have experience working in rescue, bringing with it a wealth of knowledge working with anxious, stressed and nervous dogs. Whilst I specialise in socialising and holistic training methods, Grant enjoys working with anxiety cases, confidence building, puppies and bonding practices; including loose lead walking, decompression and foundation skills to name a few.

Both myself & Grant can work from your own home, or from the purpose built facility in Worksop. We aim to get the desired results in the best way possible so having multi-environments at our finger tips gives us scope to offer more to our clients. We are extremely passionate about working with both the owner and the dog giving you the tools and confidence to continue building on your training journey.

The majority of our training is done in six week blocks, one session a week for six weeks. This gives the best results and really does build the bond between you and your dog. We do have some specialist cases (returning customers, single issues) that can be done in one or two sessions but as a general rule we like to work with you for a minimum of six weeks.
